UNADILLA Gregory Richard Raymond, 40, of Unadilla, N.Y., died on Thursday Nov. 23, 2000, at Bassett Healthcare Center, Cooperstown, N.Y., as the result of complications from AIDS.
He was born on Oct. 2, 1960, in Bakersfield, Calif., the son of Ronald and Judith Cox Raymond.
He is survived by his parents, Ron Raymond and his wife, Kathy, of Orlando, Fla., and Judith Beat of South Padre Island, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Helen Barr; sisters, Teresa Raymond-Scott and Traci Raymond of Sidney; a brother, Michael Raymond of South Padre, Texas; nieces, Rachael and Kelsey Scott of Sidney; nephews, Lucas and Logan Raymond of Bainbridge; a special friend, Russell Hanson Jr. of Unadilla; and a special family, Russell Sr., Ramona, and Kim Hanson, of Unadilla.
Greg was a U.S. Air Force veteran who was employed in restaurant management.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at the United Methodist Church, Main Street, Unadilla, N.Y., with the Rev. Donna Joy Scmidd officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Catskill Rural AIDS Service, in Greg's memory.

Edna M. Halter
ONEONTA Edna M. Halter, 99, of Oneonta, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 21, 2000, at her residence.
She was born April 20, 1901, in Oneonta, the daughter of Harmon R. Warner and Lulu May Houck Warner.
She was married twice. Her first husband was Arthur Wilsey from whom she was divorced. On Nov. 16, 1957, she married Charles Halter in Montrose, Pa. Mr. Halter died Nov. 13, 1977.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Halter was a 1919 graduate of Oneonta High School.
During her working years she held several positions. After high school she was employed by the Delaware and Hudson Railway in Albany as a bookkeeper and secretary. She later moved back to Oneonta and owned and published the first Pennysaver in the Oneonta area. She was also a secretary-bookkeeper for the first cable television office opened in Oneonta.
During World War II, she was employed by Scintilla in Sidney. In her later years, she worked at Bresee's Oneonta Department Store, until her retirement.
Mrs. Halter is survived by a son, Arthur D. Wilsey of Oneonta; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery, Oneonta, will be held in the spring of 2001 at a time to be announced.
Memorial contributions maybe given to Catskill Area Hospice, 542 Main St., Oneonta, N.Y., 13820 in memory of Edna M. Halter.

Stella A. Daddio
RENOVA, Pa. Stella A. Daddio, 93, of Oakridge Personal Care Home, Mill Falls, formerly of Renova, Pa., and Oneonta, N.Y., died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in Lock Haven Hospital, Lock Haven, Pa.
She was born May 11, 1907, in Renova, the daughter of Nobile and Annie Nose Pagnotto.
Her first husband, Anthony Curcio, died Dec. 25, 1959, and her second husband, Panerazio J. Patsy Daddio, formerly of Oneonta, N.Y., died Dec. 25, 1985.
She was a homemaker in Oneonta for 20 years and has many friends.
She was a member of Sons of Italy and Western Clinton County Sportsman's Association, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Oneonta, the Young at Hearts, the Italian American Club, the altar and rosary societies and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Surviving are a son, John Curcio of Renovo; three daughters, Rosemary Andrus of Lock Haven, Joanne Janus of Greenbelt, Md., and Ellen Smith of Warrenton, Va.; and a brother, Francis Pagnotto of Watsontown, Pa.
Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hyner, Pa.
Charles J. Sheldon
OTEGO Charles J. Sheldon, 73, of Otego, died unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at the First Christian Church of Otego with the Rev. Stephen Miller, pastor, officiating.
Spring burial will be in Otego Evergreen Cemetery, Otego.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 30 River St., Otego, N.Y.

Vera S. Trumbull
COOPERSTOWN Mrs. Vera Katherine (Spalt) Trumbull, 87, of Cooperstown, died late Friday morning, Nov. 24, 2000, at Bassett Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.
