| Arrangements are pending with the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., in Oneonta. Donovan Michael Rhodes RICHMONDVILLE Donovan Michael Rhodes, 2½ months old, the son of Travis Baldwin and Alexandra Rhodes, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006.

Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. to the funeral service time at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St., in Worcester.

Genevieve Graham DAVENPORT Genevieve Graham, 88, of Davenport, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.
She was born Dec. 6, 1917, in the town of Colchester, the daughter of Robert Scott and Anna Haynes.
She married Alexander Graham on Dec. 13, 1947. He died Dec. 1, 1996.
A graduate of Andes Central School, she moved to Davenport in 1960.
She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm, and she always had a strong love for animals.
Mrs. Graham loved to go to Turning Stone Casino.
She was a guitar and piano player and loved her music. Her grandchildren were very special to her.
She is survived by her children, Genevieve Merwin, Davenport, Timothy Graham, Florida, Clarabelle and William Merwin, Jefferson, Kathy Weisenbarger, Morris, and Margaret and Louis Banks, Cooperstown; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Graham requested no funeral or calling hours.

Walter H. Peter HOBART Walter H. Peter, 60, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at home.
He was born July 31, 1945, in Bethpage, Long Island, the son of Louis and Georgianna (Benkert) Peter.
Walt was a graduate of South Kortright Central School in the class of 1963; Mohawk Valley Community College; and the State University College at Oneonta. He retired as an electronic engineer.
Walt was a Scout Master of Troop No. 39 in Hobart; a former member of the Hobart Fire Department; a former member of the Hobart Presbyterian Church; and a member of the Hobart Historical Society.
He is survived by his mother, Georgianna, of South Kortright; and a brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Sandra Peter of Hanover, Pa.; a nephew, Scott and Shelly Peter; and a great-niece, Autumn Grace Peter of Hanover, Pa.; and several cousins.
Graveside services will be announced in the spring in the Locust Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Bert More officiating.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Hobart Historical Society or the Hobart or Bloomville Emergency Squads.

H. Geraldine Sargent Horner BALLSTON SPA H. Geraldine Sargent Horner passed away Feb. 1, 2006, at Maplewood Manor, Ballston Spa.
She was born April 5, 1918, in Milford.
She married William Sargent on Nov. 9, 1934. After his death Nov. 7, 1959, she moved to Oneonta, where she cared for her three youngest children, working as a housekeeper and actively involved with Cub Scouting and other youth activities.
In 1961, she returned to the Glenville area. While in Glenville she worked at Aucompaugh’s and KAPL in food service.
Active in the Burnt Hills Baptist Church before ill health forced her to move to assisted care with her son, Douglas, and in 2003, to Maplewood Manor.
Special thanks to grandson Tim Fake and great-granddaughters Briana and Heather King for their caring visits to the nursing home.
She was predeceased by her second husband, Thomas Horner, whom she married in 1986; and daughter Jackie Fake.
Survivors include brother, William Brown and wife Lorraine of Shippenburg, Pa.; sister, Betty Gennerino and husband, Ralph of Brockport; children, Douglas A. Sargent and wife Barbara of Charlton, Ronald Sargent of Oneonta, Olive Loubier and husband Norman of Florida, Marvin Sargent and wife, Joanne of Oneonta, Lawrence Sargent and wife Maria of Florida; and son-in-law, Thomas Fake of Galway; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral arrangements for cremation are under the direction of Townley and Wheeler Funeral Home of Ballston Lake.
Memorial service and interment will be in the spring.
Because of her love for dogs, Missy and Abby, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
Eleanor B. Archibald BOVINA CENTER Eleanor B. Archibald, 86, of Bovina Center, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at home in Bovina Center.
She was born May 17, 1919, in Bovina, the daughter of William C. and Emily (Elliott) Burns.
She married Marvin T. Archibald on Oct. 23, 1942, at home in Bovina. The Rev. Wade Miller officiated. Marvin predeceased her in 1987.
A 1937, graduate of Delaware Academy, Eleanor was a homemaker who took great pleasure in helping her community. She served as den mother for the local Cub Scout group, enjoyed sewing quilts for her grandchildren, and taught Sunday school classes. Gardening was a favorite hobby.
An elder in the Bovina United Presbyterian Church, she most recently became a member of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
She was the eldest lady living on Maple Street in Bovina. She spent 57 years there in her home.
She is survived by a son, Lee G. Archibald of Hobart; a daughter, Joan Townsend of Delhi, a daughter, Kay and Kevin Collins of Delhi; four grandsons, Elliot (Eli) and Michelle Townsend of Delhi, Ian Townsend of Albany, Jacob Collins of Delhi and Calob Collins of Delhi; a brother, John Clarence Burns of Bovina; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert E. Burns and James L. Burns; and a sister, Kathryn Messina.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at the Bovina United Presbyterian Church, Bovina Center, with the Rev. William Ward and the Rev. Mark Mallaber officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will take place in the spring in the Bovina Cemetery, Bovina Center.
Contributions are asked to be made to either: Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care or the Bovina Emergency Squad, in loving memory of Eleanor B. Archibald.

Philip P. Fabrizzio NORTH HARPERSFIELD Philip P. Fabrizzio, 85, a resident of North Harpersfield for 25 years, passed away at Robinson Terrace on Monday, Jan. 23, 2006.
Philip was a self-employed mason. He retired in 1985, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Morissette of North Harpersfield, Robert Fabrizzio of Chiquak, Alaska, Carla Rhodes of Orlando, Fla., and Paul Fabrizzio of Miami, Fla. Also, surviving are eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Philip’s name to the Jefferson Rescue Squad, Jefferson, NY 12093.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Steven Moore at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Stamford.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Hall Funeral, Stamford, under the direction of William A. Tari.
Frances June (Skellie) Hawver SCHENEVUS Frances June (Skellie) Hawver, 76, of Schenevus, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 27, 1929, in Westford, the daughter of Edward J. and Silva (Perry) Skellie.
She married Donald Hawver on Jan. 2, 1948, in Oneonta. A lifelong resident of the area, Fran graduated from Schenevus School in 1947. For several years she worked at the Schenevus Food Market, then she and Donald owned and operated the gas station in Schenevus.
For 12 years Fran served as town clerk for the Town of Maryland. She was a charter member of the C.H. Graham Hose Auxiliary, a member of the Schenevus VFW Auxiliary and the Schenevus Young at Heart.
She is survived by her two sons, John and Paula Hawver of Oneonta and Edward and Patty Hawver of Schenevus; three daughters, Donna Kenik and Victor Hanson of Schenevus, June and Rodney Preston and Amy and Steve Fancher, all of Worcester; her grandchildren, Lori Kelly, Jackie Fleury, John Condon, Christopher Condon, Missy Cash, Shelly Condon, Krista Goins, Karen Bennett, Michelle Yerdon, Timothy Preston, Malinda Brodie and Justin Fancher; great-grandchildren, Anna Fleury, Connor Cash, Brandon and Leah Goins, Jessica, Harley and Zach Bennett, Kaylie and Austin Yerdon, Jerred Brodie, Savannah and Kassidy Fancher. She is also survived by a brother, Rodney Skellie; three sisters, Vivian Groat, Alma Szeliga and Mary Ann Bryson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald, in 1986; and a son, Steven, in 1960.
At Fran’s request, she was cremated.
A celebration of her life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at the Schenevus Masonic Lodge.
Interment will be in the Schenevus Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
