Eleanor B. Peck RICHMONDVILLE Eleanor B. She was born Dec. 27, 1922, in the town of Berne, the daughter of Mary Ackar and Edwin Scutt Rivenburgh. She lived her adult life in Richmondville.
She had attended a one-room school in Howes Cave and the Lark Street School in Cobleskill before graduating from Richmondville High School as salutatorian of the class of 1940.
She was employed as a seamstress at Ace Glove Co., Richmondville, retiring in 1985. She and her husband were owner/operators of Hi-View Campsite, Richmondville.
She was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for 65 years, served on the Church Council numerous terms, the Altar Guild and for many years was president and member of the St. Paul’s Eureka Class. She was a member of the Marion Study Club, Farm Bureau Extension and the Richmondville Historical Society. She was a longtime member of the Wednesday Pinochle Club.
She married R. Douglas Peck on Dec. 21, 1940, in the parsonage of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Richmondville.
She is survived by her husband, R. Douglas Peck, Richmondville; daughters, Susan and Gary Rightmyer, Richmondville, Kimberly and David Collins, Fawn Grove, Pa., Lisa and Randy Crepser, Richmondville, Roberta Elliott, Leesburg, Va.; grandchildren, Glenn Rightmyer and Gwen, Geoffrey Rightmyer and Jenn, Susan Volans, Jeannelle Shaver and Brad, Melissa Walchko and Joseph, Sarah Rightmyer, Craig Elliott, Marlania Collins, Philip Collins, Katherine Elliott and Michael Collins; great-grandchildren, Taylor Rightmyer, Nolan Walchko, Gabrielle and Madeline Shaver, Ella Walchko, Anna Rightmyer and Grace Baker; sisters, Florence Dietrich, Huntsville, Ala., and Anne Freeman, Sloansville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by an infant son, William Peck; and sister, Rosemary Cunningham.
Services will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Main Street, Richmondville, with the Rev. Gary Edmister as celebrant. Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to noon at the church.
Burial will be in Richmondville Rural Cemetery in the spring.

Marita ’Marie’ Garrow Rodriguez MONROE, N.J. Marita "Marie" Garrow Rodriguez, 77, of Monroe Twp., N.J., and formerly of Spring Lake, N.J., died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Cranbury Center, Monroe Twp., N.J.
Born in Malone, she had lived in Spring Lake for 20 years.
She was a parishioner of St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, Spring Lake.
Her life was devoted to caring and loving her husband and nine children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, often enjoying the element of surprise with her quick wit. Time on the beach, golfing, sewing and quilting were great sources of pleasure for her.
Mrs. Rodriguez was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Eleanor Garrow, and four brothers, Albert, Wendel, Gordon and Edward Garrow. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Conrad F. Rodriguez.
Surviving are three sons, Johnny and Reney, Joey and Helen, Tell and Sandy; her six daughters, Tese Palmer and Jim, Mary McKenna and Beth Israel, Annie Taylor, Lisa Walton and Chip, Julie Dickson and Rick, Po Rodriguez; and her former son-in-law, Bill McKenna; and 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Funeral service will be at 8:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at the O’Brien Funeral Home, Highway 35, New Bedford Road, Wall, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catharine’s RC Church, Spring Lake.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006.
Interment is in New Jersey Veteran’s Cemetery, Arneytown.

Donald C. Lisenby STAFFORD, Va. Donald C. Lisenby, born Jan. 6, 1936, in Endicott, went home to be with our Lord and Savior the morning of Feb. 7, 2006.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50-plus years, Barbeth Byrne Lisenby. They were married Sept. 9, 1955, in Sanitaria Springs.
He was a kind and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jeff Lisenby of North Carolina, Darlene and Jack Baker of Virginia, Tamey and Shayne Havener of Virginia, Randy and Vicki Lisenby of Virginia, Don and Laura Lisenby Jr. of New York, and Michelle Lisenby of New York; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He served in the Air Force for 15½ years and retired as a Master Sergeant, Computer Specialist. He also retired from Civil Service with GSA after 11 years. He accomplished a bachelor’s degree, attended Sidney First Baptist Church and served as a deacon.
He was an avid hunter and loved playing golf.
Funeral arrangements are at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home, 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Va., with funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006. Interment to follow at Stafford Memorial Gardens. There will be a reception at 2 p.m. at Grove Baptist Church in Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at the Sidney First Baptist Church, Sidney, in celebration of his life.

Joan (Bennett Williams) Milam HEARNE, Texas Joan (Bennett Williams) Milam of Hearne, Texas, and formerly of Unadilla, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, with her family at her side. She was 58 years old.
Joan was born July 25, 1947, daughter of the late Willard and Florence Bennett.
Joan worked at Keith Clark in Sidney until the family moved to Texas in the 1970s.
She is survived by her children, son, Donald Williams Jr., and daughter and son-in-law, Davanna and Billy Minter; also five grandchildren of Hearne, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley Gransbury and Dorothy and Gerald Labour; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Carol Bennett, all of Mount Upton; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Herbert Bennett.
Funeral was held at the Memorial Funeral Home, Hearne, Texas, on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006.
There will be a memorial service for Joan at the Alliance Circle Drive Church, 6 Circle Drive, Sidney, for family and friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006.
Edward Lewis Klein RICHFIELD SPRINGS Edward Lewis Klein, 79, of Ann Street, beloved husband of the late Audrey Virginia Purtill Klein, passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 8, 2006, in his home after a long illness.
