She was born on Oct. 14, 1930, in Rotterdam, a daughter of Marcus S. and Pearl (Parent) Lane. She married Stanley Robert Phillips on Oct. 16, 1948, in Schenectady. Mr. Phillips died Feb. 9, 2005.

For many years, Audrey and Stan made their home on South Street in Hartwick where they raised their family. She especially enjoyed playing Bingo and watching TV game shows.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel Phillips and his wife, Linda, Randy Phillips and his wife, Jennifer, and Michael Phillips, all of Hartwick; one daughter, Louise McAdams and her husband, Henry, of Burlington Flats; seven grandchildren, Daniel, John, Matthew, Christopher and Eric Phillips, Savanna Wart and Brian McAdams; four great-grandchildren, Thomas Leslie Dygert, Keanna, Daniel and Austin; one sister, Shirley Pratt of Pennsylvania; one brother-in-law, Donald C. Phillips and his wife, Ina, of Hartwick; one sister-in-law, Audree Lane of Toddsville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband of 56 years, Stanley, Audrey was predeceased by one granddaughter, Kristen Michelle Phillips, who died Sept. 19, 2005; one brother, Glen A. Lane, who died Sept. 20, 1999; and one sister, Carol Pucunas.

A graveside funeral service will be offered at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in Hartwick Cemetery, with the Rev. John C. Young officiating.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy, in the form of memorial gifts may be made to the Hartwick Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 208, Hartwick, NY 13348.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.

RICHFIELD SPRINGS — Lorna A. Maksuta, 68, of Walnut Street, beloved wife of William O. Maksuta, passed away on Thursday evening, March 30, 2006, at home. She had the comfort of her loving family at her side.

Funeral arrangements are with J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James St., Richfield Springs.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
