Professor to present paper in Budapest

ONEONTA Hartwick College Professor of management John Clemens was recently notified that his paper "Carpe Diem! How Leaders Master Time" has been for presentation.
He will present his work at the annual meeting of the Global Business and Technology Association in Budapest, Hungary, in mid-July.
The paper also will be published in the conference proceedings.
The conference's theme is "Challenging the Frontiers in Global Business and Technology: Implementation of Changes in Values, Strategy, and Policy."
The conference is being sponsored by the Tobin College of Business; St. John's University; the Robins School of Business, University of Richmond; Budapest Business School; State University of Management, Moscow; and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Clemens is the founder and executive director of the Hartwick Humanities in Management Institute, an organization that publishes leadership case studies and provides programs for emerging leaders in Fortune 500 companies. He pioneered Classic Leadership Cases, a program adopted in more than 360 business schools across the country.
He is the co-author of "The Classic Touch: Lessons in Leadership from Homer to Hemingway," which has been translated into seven languages; "The Timeless Leader" and "Movies to Manage By: Lessons in Leadership from Great Films."
In addition, Clemens has written numerous articles on leadership that have appeared in such periodicals as Fortune magazine, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
