Goodyear Lake group celebrates
GOODYEAR LAKE _ Albert Blaylock has a lot to thank the Colliers Dam for. Blaylock’s father, Albert Oliver Blaylock, was an engineer on the dam when it was built in 1906 and completed in 1907. The Goodyear Lake Association celebrated the 100th anniversary Saturday of the lake and the dam. It was while working on the dam that Blaylock’s father met his mother, Mildred.

Corbin Douglas Sr. was found guilty in federal court Thursday of giving morphine to his 14-month-old son who died of a drug overdose 2½ years ago. Douglas federal trial is Tuesday
