to save future
Last week, I watched the HBO documentary regarding the broken levees of New Orleans and was so disturbed by how our government responded, I sat in tears. Last night, I watched Discovery Channel’s "Blue Planet" with awe and disgust, as well, as I did with the "Planet Earth" series. The disgust was over the fact that the Bush administration, actually all administrations, continue to look the other way at the hands of "We, the people."
We are personally and physically destroying the soils and the seas continually for Bush to continue on his ego trip. Why can we not still impeach him even if he only has a little more than a year to go? Send a message. Members of government and all the big corporations care nothing about morality, they only care about sitting on a beach, drinking margaritas and cheating on their wives at our expense.
We are losing everything, and our children’s children will not experience the wonders of this world because of the Bush wars that continue and the disgrace put on America time after time. "We, the people" should govern, not a bunch of pompous idiots. In the olden days, folks took care of their own. It’s time we do that again.

Prison terms messed up
How strange it is that Michael Vick will most likely receive one year-to-18 months in prison for charges related to his first-time conviction for dog fighting.
Too bad for him he wasn’t convicted of child molesting. He most likely would have received a six-month sentence.
