O-State men at Canisius

Staff Report

Oneonta State plays at Canisius at 4 p.m. today in a Division I non-conference men's soccer match.

The Red Dragons (8-6-1) won their last game, defeating Colgate, 2-1, on Wednesday. Sophomore Antonio DiMuccio, the Atlantic Soccer Conference's Rookie of the Week last week, scored the winner with his third goal of the fall.

Canisius (5-10-2), which lost to O-State last fall, is led by Brad Kenny, who has six goals. Canisius lost to Marist, 4-3, in its last game.

O-State is 3-1 in the ASC and must win its last two conference games to remain in contention with Philadelphia (4-1) for first place. Philadelphia, which holds a tiebreaker advantage over Oneonta with a 1-0 overtime victory in September, can clinch the ASC title with a triumph in its last conference game.
