LL Dog claims first in Genny; Oak Tree has top triple in ISD

LL Dog routed Oak Tree Homes, 201/2-31/2, last Monday night at Holiday Lanes in Oneonta to take first place in the Genny Light Classic. Super sub Gus Lampo threw a 699 series and Mike Packard added a 635 set to lead LL Dog. Brian Davis rolled a 659 for Oak Tree.

Pat Muller had a 676 set and Fred Muller added a 634 triple as Oneonta Cellular defeated U-Page, 13-11. Lee Kopf bowled a 649 for U-Page.

Dave Elliot rolled a 654 series for Dante's Pizzeria, which beat Palace Cigar Store, 16-8, to move into second place. Kermit Weaver paced Palace with a 643 series.

RJ Anderson Roofing defeated Pierce Excavating, 17-7. Jim Christy rolled a 656 series for RJ Anderson.

Johnson's Siding thumped Losie's Gun Shop 201/2-31/2 to take fourth place. Bill Johnson led the winners with a 561.

ISD Classic

Joe Muller threw a 735 series to lead Oak Tree Homes' sweep over Morey's Restaurant on Jan. 9 in the ISD Classic at Holiday Lanes.

Pat Muller and Crystal Ingalls added sets of 717 and 661, respectively, for Oak Tree Homes, which had a league best for team triple with 2,763 pins. Jaime Delamater threw a 636 for Morey's Restaurant.

Tri-County Communications defeated ISD to remain in first place. Mark Rathbun paced Tri-County with a 671 set. Al Camp led ISD with a 657 triple.

Zim's Shoes beat Eckerd Drugs, 2-1, to move into second place. Jay Gage rolled a 667 series for the winners. Tom Grammar threw a 642 triple in the losing effort.

LL Dog swept first-half champion Dante's Pizzeria. Tony Quinones shot a 619 set to lead LL Dog.
