H-T defeats Gilboa, 46-35
Stamford, Margaretville win
Staff Report
Violet Ramos had 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead host Hunter-Tannersville over Gilboa, 46-35, in the Delaware League on Thursday night.
Kelly VanValkenburgh added five points, 12 rebounds and six steals for the winners.
Jessie Buel led Gilboa with 12 points.
H-T (11-4, 7-4) plays host to Roxbury on Monday.

Margaretville 64, Jefferson 33
Heather Russell scored half of her game-high 20 points in the opening quarter, leading Margaretville past visiting Jefferson in a Delaware League game.
Margaretville led, 18-7, after one quarter and extended the lead to 29-15 at halftime.
The Blue Devils scored made 18 of 28 free throw attempts, including 5-for-6 efforts from Patti Nolan, who had 12 points, and Shauna Mead, who had nine.
"We really moved the ball well passing-wise," Margaretville coach John Bernhardt said. "We were able to get inside, with penentrating-type shots toward the basket."
Margaretville plays at Windham on Wednesday.
Katie Carroll had 14 points for Jefferson.

Nickie Odell led Downsville with 12 points.
Windham visits Catskill on Monday in a make-up game.
