Hamilton 73, Cooperstown 67, OT
Shaun Marcellus hit a driving layup at the buzzer to force overtime and made a 3-pointer in the extra session to propel Hamilton over Center State Conference host Cooperstown.
The Redskins went 1-for-5 from the foul line in the final 30 seconds, giving Hamilton several chances to even the score.
"It was too bad we let it slip away because it was the best we've played as a team this season," Cooperstown coach Mike Cring said. "We had a good inside-out attack."
Chris Marcellus had 24 points, Chad Snow 22 and Shaun Marcellus 20 for Hamilton, which made 22 of 30 free throws, including several in overtime to seal the victory.
Jeremy Holmes led four Redskins in double figures with 21 points. Shane Connolly had 14 and Billy Hribar and Paul Leonard finished with 10 apiece.
Cooperstown plays host to Canastota on Thursday.

Rebecca Selzner and Ashley Payne spearheaded a Southern Tier Athletic Conference sweep for Oneonta (8-7, 7-6 STAC) with team highs in two categories. Selzner had seven kills to lead the Yellowjackets, who received 12 points from Payne.
Oneonta, which won, 30-17, 30-10, 30-21, plays host to Johnson City on Thursday.

Heather Morgan led B-G with 10 assists, and Ashleigh Smith and Chelsie Ruff had two aces apiece. Jamie Carls had nine kills for Forks.
