O-State coach takes over CHAMPS
Oneonta State named women's lacrosse coach Laura Moan its new coordinator for the CHAMPS Life Skills program. Moan, who joined the school last season and is also an assistant in field hockey, will advise the Student Athlete Advisory Committee as well.
The NCAA CHAMPS Life Skills program is in its seventh year at Oneonta State, which was one of the first Division III schools to participate. The program, which began in 1995, is based on a series of seminars, workshops and activities developed to provide enrichment opportunities to student-athletes beyond what is traditionally available through athletic competition and degree course work.
