ONEONTA — The names have changed for the most part, but the result was very familiar.

Using the same suffocating defense that took them to the state finals a year ago, the Cooperstown boys basketball team opened the season with a 64-44 victory over Trumansburg on Tuesday night in the Anthony Drago Tournament at Oneonta High.

The Redskins meet the Yellowjackets at 8:15 p.m. Friday in the final. Oneonta beat Delhi, 63-31, in the other game.
