It figured to be a long night for the Cooperstown boys basketball team when 6-foot senior Reid Snyder was announced as its starting center against Tully on Tuesday.

It was, as fourth-seeded Tully's front line featuring a 6-5, 6-4 and 6-4 player proved too much in the Redskins' 75-66 loss in the first round of the Section Three Class C Tournament.

Shane Connolly had 29 points for fifth-seeded Cooperstown, which ended the season 13-8.
