Fighting Tiger Invitational

Oneonta High graduate Matt Schulte shot a 7-over 79 to finish in sixth place for Cobleskill at the Fighting Tiger Invitational on Saturday.

Cobleskill placed second at 326, 16 strokes behind winner Monroe. Schenevus graduate Dan Spano and Cobleskill teammate Shaun Marcellus tied for 14th at 82.

The Fighting Tigers play at the Monroe CC Invitational at the Midvale Country Club today.

Adam Kuperus had five goals to lead host Monroe CC to a non-conference victory. Monroe (10-1), ranked second in the NJCAA poll, outshot the Broncos, 44-26.

Pat Green and Gavin Bortz had two goals and an assist apiece for Delhi (5-7), which plays Saturday at Cayuga. Goalie Mike Muskin made 31 saves.
