Broncos men, O-State women win

COLLEGE TRACK

Adam Wilson won the 400-meter hurdles in 55 seconds Saturday to lead Delhi Tech to the Oneonta State Invitational men’s team championship.

Wilson’s finish is the top NJCAA Division III time this season.

Nick Santopietro (javelin), Hasani Dawkins (long jump), Robert Orr (pole vault), Dan Haggerty (3,000 steeplechase) and Sean DePuy (110 hurdles) also won events for the Broncos, who had 217 points.

O-State was second with 154.5 and Cobleskill third with 40.5.

Tom O’Neill won the 100 (10.4 seconds) and 200 (21.3) for the Red Dragons.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]Sean Hurley won the high jump (6-foot-2 3/4) and triple jump (44-1 1/4) for O-State. Ryan Walter, a Delhi Tech grad, won the 5,000 in 15:48.7.

Musu Jackson-Buckner won the 100 (11.8) and 200 (24.7) to lead the Oneonta State women to the team title with 150 points. Hartwick was second at 109 and Delhi Tech third at 78.

Perry Brown led Delhi by winning the 100 hurdles (14.8) and 400 hurdles (1:05.2). Cassi Williams won the 400 (1:01.5) and long jump (17-3 1/2).

Jen McDonnell won the discus (104-11) and hammer throw (115-10) to lead Hartwick. Maria Fernandez won the javelin (84-10) and high jump (4-9 3/4).

Leslie Martin led Cobleskill with a victory in the triple jump (32-8 1/2).
