Justin Pedersen won three events to lead the Gilbertsville-Mount Upton boys track team to a Tri-Valley League track victory over Franklin and host Milford on Wednesday.

Pedersen won the 800 (2 minutes, 20.64 second), 1,600 (5:22.18), and 3,200 (12:17.4).

Jay Jones won the 100 (11.8), 200 (24.48), and 400 (55.16) to lead Milford, which finished second in the three-team meet.

Shannon Weir won the 200 (13.61), shot put (30 feet, 7 inches), and discus (105-0) to lead the Milford girls to a victory.

Gabby Dello won the 1,500 (5:59.01), and 3,000 (13:07) for G-MU. Nicole Simonds won the 100 hurdles for Franklin.

Monica Nuzzo and Courtney Hoyt won three events apiece as the Downsville girls won a dual meet against Morris, 85-26.

Nuzzo finished first in the 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles and high jump, and Hoyt took the 1,500, long jump and triple jump.

The Morris boys won, 58-35, behind three first-place finishes by Seth Gregory (100, 200, high jump).
