Oneonta defeats Delhi
Potter’s triple keys 9-7 victory on road

Don Potter’s two-run triple in the third inning Wednesday helped Oneonta to a 9-7 Legion baseball victory at Delhi.
Potter keyed an eight-run third for Oneonta, putting the Green Wave ahead, 4-0, with none out. He finished with two hits, as did Lance Thomas.
Andrew Brown struck out six, walked one and allowed two hits and no earned runs in four innings for the pitching victory. He improved to 6-2 after Lance Ratchford earned his first save of the season.
Matt Barkalow and Matt George doubled for Delhi, which used six pitchers and rallied with a six-run sixth before Ratchford pi[an error occurred while processing this directive]tched a scoreless seventh.
Oneonta (15-18) closes the regular season against Albany-based Zaloga at 6 p.m. Friday at Field 6 in Neahwa Park. The Green Wave opens the District 6 Tournament against host Cortland at 5 p.m. Sunday.
