Senior backup Caitlin Wiltsie stepped in for injured starter Brittney Peet on Monday, making five saves to lift the Raiders to a 2-0 Tri-Valley League victory over visiting Worcester.

Terra Moore and Gabby Porter scored for G-MU (6-4 overall, 5-2 T-V), which handed the Wolverines (3-3-1) their first loss to a T-V team this season.

"There’s no controversy in goal," Harding said. "We’re pretty good in supporting each other."

[an error occurred while processing this directive]Wiltsie earned her second shutout this year in place of Peet, who sprained a thumb in a 2-1 loss at Schenevus on Sept. 12. G-MU followed with a three-game winning streak that started with a 3-0 defeat of host Franklin on Sept. 13.

Moore headed in the first goal off a Worcester defender with 1 minute, 14 seconds left in the first half. The opportunity started with a corner kick from Danny Porter. Twin sister Gabby then scored an insurance goal in the second half with a left-footed shot over the head of losing goalie Emily Bristol from inside the 18-yard line.

Worcester, which has shutout victories over Milford and Cherry Valley-Springfield this season, fell to 2-1-1 in league play.
