Kim Mayer and Christina Intartagliah each scored in the first half to lead visiting Delhi Tech to a Mountain Valley Conference victory Tuesday.
Bethany Studt made one save to earn the shutout for the Broncos (3-1-1, 3-0-1), who play at Fulton-Montgomery CC on Saturday.

C-G (3-0, 1-0) was outshot, 16-3. Cobleskill (3-2-1, 2-2-1) plays host to Mohawk Valley CC at 4 p.m. Monday. MVCC is top-ranked in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.

Dean Stanic and Liam Cyle had a goal apiece to lead visiting Cayuga to a Region III victory.
Cooperstown graduate Jim Dangl made 10 saves for Delhi Tech (2-4-2), which was outshot, 12-3. The Broncos travel to Broome at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Baez, Cobleskill athletes earn NJCAA honors
Delhi Tech cross country runner Johnny Baez was named the NJCAA Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11.
Baez received the honor after winning his second race in two weeks, finishing a five-mile course at Finger Lakes CC in 28:28. It was the same course the NJCAA national championships will be held at on Nov. 12.
Five Cobleskill athletes were named NJCAA Academic All-Americans.
Beth Cooper (cross country, softball), Jim Fitzpatrick (track and field), Joe Anderson (men’s lacrosse), Kathryn Foster (swimming and diving) and Nicole Franke (volleyball and track and field) were honored.
Francillon named Cobleskill Athlete of the Week
Freshman soccer player Gilbert Francillon was named Cobleskill’s Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 18.
Francillon scored both goals in a 2-1 upset over 15th-ranked Hudson Valley CC on Sept. 14. His winning goal came with 7 minutes, 57 seconds left in the second overtime. Cobleskill is 3-3-1.
