Hunter education courses this weekend

The Oneonta Sportsman Club on Route 28 will hold hunter education courses from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

All new hunters, bowhunters and trappers must receive training before obtaining their first licenses. Students must attend both sessions and pass a test. Courses are free.

The Oneonta Sportsman Club is located on Rod & Gun Club Rd. at the top of Franklin Mountain in Delaware County.
