Brett Hayes shot an even-par 36 on the back nine of Afton to lead Bainbridge-Guilford to a 196-219 Midstate Athletic Conference victory over Greene on Thursday.

Both teams entered the match unbeaten, but every B-G player shot 41 or better as the Bobcats took over first place.

Willie Irons and Ryan Reynolds each shot 39s for B-G (9-0, 9-0) which plays host to Hancock on Thursday.

Carissa Birdsall also won her singles match for Delhi (5-2, 5-1), which plays at Oxford on Tuesday.

Megan Delvecchio won at second singles, but Sidney (3-3) lost at home in the MAC. At first singles, Anna Roberts and Sierra Houck rallied from a 7-1 deficit to tie the score at 8, but Greene’s Anna Cyr and Kelsey Fiore went on for the victory.
