Gentile scores three times to lift Cooperstown boys to victory
Eagles girls win non-league game to remain undefeated

Cooperstown junior Chris Gentile had his first three-goal game as the Redskins boys soccer team stayed unbeaten in the Center State Conference with a 4-1 victory over Frankfort-Schuyler on Monday.
Gentile gave Cooperstown (7-1-1 overall, 7-0 league) a 3-1 lead 18 minutes into the second half when he headed in Luke Banner’s cross.
Banner finished with a goal and two assists.
The Redskins visit Sherburne-Earlville (10-0-1) on Wednesday in a key Center State Conference game.

Walton 2, Oxford 1 Joe DeGroat scored the decisive goal 27:52 into the second half, giving visiting Walton a 2-0 lead en route to a Midstate Athletic Conference victory.
Josh Parks cut the deficit to 2-1 on a goal with 15 minutes left for Oxford (2-7-1, 2-6), which is at Bainbridge-Guilford on Friday.
Trent Wood contributed a first-half goal for the Warriors.

Greg Mudge had two goals and two assists as Hunter-Tannersville built a 3-0 halftime lead and went on for a non-league victory on the road.
Mudge set up Chris Statts for a goal off a throw-in 16 minutes in, and Mudge made it 2-0 about 10 minutes later.
