Indians fall at home

Staff Report

Nate Shelton caught two first-half touchdown passes Saturday to help Walton snap a three-game skid with a 28-12 Section Four Football Conference victory over Bainbridge-Guilford in a Division VII game.

Kyle Holley opened the scoring with a 2-yard run and Shelton followed with a 68-yard TD catch. Walton quarterback Patrick O’Brien found Shelton for a 23-yard TD with 3 minutes, 27 seconds left before halftime to give Walton (5-3, 2-2) a 22-6 lead.

Richard Fletcher paced Walton on the ground with 106 yards on 17 carries. The Warriors rushed for 304 of their 398 yards.
