’Wick soccer ranked 13th by NSCAA
The Hartwick College men’s soccer team earned a No. 13 ranking in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Poll on Tuesday.
The Hawks made its debut in the top-25 with a 2-1 victory over St. John’s on Oct. 19. The Red Storm, then ranked sixth, fell to 15th in the poll.
Hartwick (9-3-1, 3-0 Atlantic Soccer Conference) is also ranked 21st in the Soccer America poll, 24th in the Soccer Times poll and 25th by College Soccer News.
The Hawks had lost their previous games against ranked opponents Connecticut, Binghamton and Washington before beating St. John’s.
Hartwick has one more ranked team on the schedule, traveling to No. 20 Penn State on Nov. 4.

O-State Athletes of the Week
Cross country juniors Kaitlin O’Sullivan and Ryan Wells were named the Oneonta State Athletes of the Week on Monday.
O’Sullivan earned second team SUNY Athletic Conference honors Saturday by finishing 15th at the SUNYAC championships at Plattsburgh. She’s only the second woman in school history to earn all-conference honors.
She finished in 23 minutes, 15 seconds, breaking the school record by 31 seconds.
Wells earned second-team All-Conference honors by finishing ninth in in 25:55, breaking the school record by 33 seconds.
