Marissa Krawaski and Kayla Christer combined for three goals in the first half as second-seeded Herkimer ended third-seed Cooperstown’s season in a Section Three Class C semifinal game.

"We had great attack in the first half (but) we just couldn’t put it over the finish line," Redskins coach Brenda Wedderspoon-Gray said.

Sophia Rothweiler scored for visiting Cooperstown, which finished 10-8-1.

"We accomplished a lot more than we thought we could," Wedderspoon-Gray said. "We just needed to play more co[an error occurred while processing this directive]nsistently through the season."
