Downsville to take on mirror image today

If the Downsville girls soccer team has yet to take a long, hard look at itself, just wait until today.
The state’s top-ranked Class D team, undefeated Downsville takes a 22-game winning streak into a state semifinal against strikingly similar Chazy at 11 a.m. today.
The semifinal at B.C. United Field in Endicott pits the Section Four champion Eagles against an attack-first, ask-questions-later team highlighted by junior standout Helen Giroux.
Friday’s winner plays Section Two’s New Lebanon (17-4-1) or Section Five’s Arkport (20-3) at 1 p.m. Saturday at[an error occurred while processing this directive]
