Sidney’s Jordan Tuttel has thrown his 6-foot-7, 270-pound frame into his opponents twice as much this season.

A season after playing only on the offensive line, Tuttel has become a force on both sides of the ball in 2005 to help Sidney to its first Section Four title.

"Putting him on defense was a big move," said senior running back Nick Kozak, whose 873 rushing yards are largely thanks to Tuttel’s blocking on offense. "Probably one of the most strategic moves we could have done."

Although Tuttel is often the largest player on the field, he’s surprisingly agile. At defensive end, he can cave in the pocket in a hurry, which has helped him to 66 tackles this season — 51 solo. He also has one sack and one fumble recovery.
