The Sidney football team has been pretty good at achieving goals this season.

Win the Section Four Division V title, earn the Section Four Class C championship and reach the Syracuse Carrier Dome.

Done, done and done.

Now that the Warriors have reached the Carrier Dome for a Class C state semifinal, a bigger goal looms — a state championship.

But before Sidney (10-1) worries about that, Section Five champion Marcus Whitman (10-1) stands in the way at 11 a.m. Saturday.
