Thirteen area football players have been named to the East roster for the Ernie Davis Classic football game.

The game is scheduled for 7 tonight at Union-Endicott’s Ty Cobb Stadium.

Sidney, which will play in the Class C state championship at 2 p.m. Saturday against Dobbs Ferry in the Syracuse Carrier Dome, has four selections. Kyle Morenus, Aaron Zurn, Pat Simonds and Jordan Tuttel were all named to the team.

Three players from Unatego (Nicholas Bell, Kevin Campbell and Matt Newman), two from Oneonta (Bryan Bordinger and Cody Losie) and two from Delhi (Taylor Sohns and Jeremiah Warren) were also named to the team.

Justin Plows (Unadilla Valley) and Will Neale (Walton) rounded out the area selections.
