SYRACUSE Aaron Zurn stole the show Saturday in the Carrier Dome.
Senior Zurn, named the game’s Most Valuable Player, had 379 all-purpose yards to lead the Sidney football team to a 48-21 thumping of defending state champion Dobbs Ferry in the Class C state championship.
The breakdown of Zurn’s day included 177 yards on the ground, 94 receiving, 49 on an interception return for a touchdown, 37 in punt and kick returns and a 22-yard touchdown pass to Pat Simonds.
