Delhi graduate and Oneonta State senior wrestler Kyle Hauptfleisch earned the Dr. Sam Molnar Award for his academic and athletic success.

The award is given annually to a junior or senior male athlete in the SUNY Athletic Conference with the best combination of academic and athletic ability.

Hauptfleisch, a senior Physics/Engineering major, has been named to the dean’s list six times, the SUNYAC Commissioner’s List three times and the SUNYAC All-Academic team three times.

He is a member of the Physics Honor Society, the National College Athletic Honor Society of Chi Alpha Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society.
