Jordan finished with five three-pointers and six assists.

Matt Decker and Trevor Beames scored 16 points apiece for Afton, which cut its deficit to seven midway through the third quarter but couldn’t get closer.

"Afton made a nice run to cut it to seven," Campbell said. "We responded by being patient and getting easy buckets off their trap and making a lot of our free throws."

"It was a game of runs," H-T coach Chris Glennon said, "Every time we’d get a lead of 10 or 12 points, they would make a run to shrink our advantage."

Dillan Knapp scored a team-high 20 points and Mike Winner finished with 10 for Andes.

"Both teams played great defense tonight," said Glennon, whose team hit seven three-pointers. "The big difference in the game is that we were able to make more shots from the perimeter."

Glennon said he was impressed by Andes’ resiliency.

"We may have outgunned them tonight," Glennon said, "but those kids (from Andes) played with a tremendous amount of heart."
