Davenport youth coaches deserve praise

I recently went to my first evening of watching my grandson play basketball, and it made me proud to say that I am a Davenport resident.

I fully believe the time Joe Ballard and other coaches donate are the reason why Davenport’s varsity teams are as good as they are. Joe and Davenport’s other coaches deserve a big pat on the backs for what they have done for these children.

Keep up the good work. It does not go unnoticed.
