Oneonta girl wins golf tournament in Virginia
Oneonta High junior Meghan Brunswick won the Virginia Classic Allstar Junior Golf Tournament at Kingsmill Golf Resort in Williamsburg, Va on March 4-5.
Brunswick shot an 83 in the final round of the two-day event in the girls age 15-19 division. She qualified for the Allstar Junior Championship at Innisbrook Resort in Tampa, Fla. from July 12-14.

Oneonta Little League tryouts start March 27
Oneonta Little League will hold tryouts from 5:30-7:30 p.m. March 27-29 at Hartwick College’s Binder Gymnasium.
[an error occurred while processing this directive]Players born between April 30, 1993 and May 1, 1996 who did not play in the majors last year are required to try out. Players may try out on any of the dates and must bring a baseball glove and wear appropriate clothes, includes sneakers.

Colonial Ridge golf league to meet March 28
Colonial Ridge Golf, formerly known as the Cee Jay Golf Course in Laurens, will hold an organizational meeting for its Tuesday Night Men’s League at 7 p.m. March 28.
The course also will hold an organizational meeting for its Wednesday Night Men’s League at 7 p.m. March 29. Both leagues are open to the public.

Donkey basketball at Davenport on March 29
Charlotte Valley Central School in Davenport will host donkey basketball at 7 p.m. March 29.
The game will sponsor Davenport Soccer Club.

Hartwick volleyball to host adult league
The Hartwick College volleyball team will run an adult volleyball league (18 years and older) at Binder Gymnasium from March 30-May 16.
The first night of competition is scheduled to start at 6:45 p.m. March 30. All other league nights will be held at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Team entry fee is $175, payable to Hartwick College-Volleyball, and is due by April 11.
Interested team representatives (men’s, women’s or mixed) must contact Louise Lansing in the volleyball office at 607-431-4722 by Monday.
Hartwick to host soccer and swim camp
Hartwick College will host its spring soccer and swim mini-camp for youths ages 6-14 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 17-19.
The camp includes soccer instruction and recreational tournaments with indoor and outdoor sessions, as well as use of the Moyer Pool and instruction in water polo.

Soccer tournament to be held in March
Teams interested in competing in the second annual Futsol Tournament, a soccer tournament sponsored by the Schenevus Soccer Club, should call Stephanie Banks at 607-638-8023.
The club will run high school tournaments for boys and girls Saturday and modified tournaments for boys and girls Sunday.
