Colonial Ridge GC to hold meetings

The Colonial Ridge Golf Course in Laurens will hold league meetings on the following days.

Tuesday: Tuesday Morning Men, 9 a.m.

Thursday: Thursday Night Men, 5:30 p.m.

Friday: Friday Night Couples, 5:30 p.m.

Monday, May 1: Monday Morning Ladies 8:30 a.m. (play follows).

The Thursday Morning Senior Citizens League, for men and women ages 60 and older, tees off at 9 a.m. Thursday. Coffee and donuts will be served at 8:30 a.m.

SUNY Delhi diver earns national honor

First-year SUNY Delhi diver Ryan Smith earned NJCAA Academic All-America honors, Broncos swimming and diving coach John Kolodziej announced Sunday.

Smith, who participates in the carpentry program at Delhi, also made the Academic All-Region III team.

A qualifier for the Junior College Nationals in San Antonio this past season, Smith earned an All-America honorable mention in 1- and 3-meter diving.
