| ut nine and walked one over six innings for his first varsity pitching victory as host Cooperstown beat non-league foe Little Falls, 10-3, on Thursday.
"It was a little bit of everything he used his curveball, change-up and fastball," Cooperstown coach Frank Miosek said of Fort, a sophomore left-hander.
Luke Banner, Frank Petroskey, Robbie Orenstein and Sean Gates all had two hits for the Redskins (7-2), who play at Canastota today.
[an error occurred while processing this directive]Petroskey drove in two runs and has a team-best 22 RBIs. Miosek said Petroskey is batting better than .500 and has an on-base percentage close to .700.

Winning pitcher Greg Mudge hit an RBI triple to center and scored on Donald Pesciotta’s sacrifice fly to center in the seventh as host Hunter-Tannersville rallied for a Delaware League win.
Mudge (3-1) struck out 11 and walked three in a four-hitter. He also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Teammate Chris Statts went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. Losing pitcher Matt Iacono went 2-for-3, including a homer to left-center in the first inning.
"It was a shot," H-T coach Jeff Friedman said of Iacono’s homer. "I think they’re still tracking that one on radar."
H-T (4-1) is at South Kortright today.

Ethan Berghamm scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball in Andes’ Delaware League victory at Jefferson.
Phil Rezac doubled to lead off the fifth and scored on Berghamm’s single to tie it at 7. Berghamm went 3-for-4 and Rezac had two doubles for the Mountaineers.
Jefferson (1-4, 0-3) plays at Roxbury today.

Joe Innes went 3-for-4 and Owen Moss was 2-for-4 in Unatego’s Midstate Athletic Conference victory at Unadilla Valley.
Innes and Moss had two RBIs apiece for Unatego (7-2, 3-0), which plays a key MAC game at Sidney (9-2, 3-0) today.

The host Bulldogs rallied for nine runs in the seventh, but Sidney held on for the MAC victory in a game that featured 27 hits 10 for extra bases.
Nick Kozak hit an inside-the-park homer to right in the third inning and Pat Simonds went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, two runs and two RBIs for Sidney (9-2, 3-0).
Nate Rockefeller had three hits and two RBIs for Delhi (1-8, 0-3), which visits Greene on Saturday.

Reliever Bryan Backus threw four innings of one-hit ball to get his first varsity win, and Rob McLaughlan had two hits, three runs and two RBIs as host Walton won in the MAC.
Casey Killian hit a two-run double in Walton’s four-run first. After Afton pulled within 5-3, Chris Mead hit a two-run single during the Warriors’ five-run fourth.
The Warriors (6-2-1, 4-0), who have won six straight, host Bainbridge-Guilford on Monday.
