O-State softball swept
ONEONTA STATE SOFTBALL
Cortland had a total of 21 hits Friday in a SUNY Athletic Conference doubleheader sweep of host Oneonta State.
Cortland won the opener, 12-2, and the second game, 8-0. Both games ended after five innings.
Cortland (28-8, 18-2)scored 10 runs in the first three innings of the opener. Meghan Martin led O-State (17-17, 8-10)with a triple and two RBIs, and Allison Bandos contributed a double.
Sophomore Ashley Risco had two of O-State’s three hits in the second game. Michelle Norwich also doubled for Oneonta, which hosts Potsdam on Saturday.
