Teammate Mike Tracy went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and three runs.

"They didn’t make errors and we did," said Sidney coach Matt Hafele, whose team committed five of their seven errors in Cooperstown’s 10-run fourth.

Allen Knowlton and Alex Hendrickson each had two hits for Sidney (5-3).
