Rutledge wins O-Tiger 5K
Staff Report
Mike Rutledge of Milford easily won the seventh annual Fox-Tigers 5K on Tuesday, crossing in 16 minutes, 25 seconds.
The race was held before the O-Tigers’ doubleheader against the Lowell Spinners at Damaschke Field.
Otego resident and Ithaca College graduate Amanda Laytham, 23, won the women’s race and placed third overall. She finished in 18:31.
Vinny VanDoren finished second to Rutledge with a time of 18:15.
Skip Baxter was fourth overall in 19:12.
The second woman to cross was Stasi Kasianchuk, who finished 10th overall in 20:42.
