Susquehanna Bass Association results
Gary Edwards and John Burnside won the Susquehanna Bass Association’s ONEY’s Garage Open Tournament on Sunday at Canadarago Lake.
Edwards and Burnside won with a five-fish limit weighing 13.21 pounds. Tom Trelease and Dave Fredricks placed second with four fish at 11.68 pounds.
Les Beckwith and Brad Dick caught five fish weighing 9.24 pounds for third, and Steve Llewellyn and Frank Microni finished fourth with three fish weighing 8.03 pounds.
Chris Savage caught the lunker of the tournament, setting a season record with a 20 1/4-inch, 5.5 pound fish.

The next SBA tournament is the Snap-on-Tools Tournament this Sunday at Saratoga Lake.

Elena’s wins basketball title
Elena’s Sweet Indulgence won its third straight Del Anthony Basketball Classic Playoff Championship last Monday, beating Job Corps in the best-of-3 championship series, two games to none.
Doshea Gordon, Steveo Delton, Jesse Woodard, Sean Bolger, Scott Taggart, Dave Bellevue and Omar Johnson competed for Elena’s this season.
Bellevue and Delton were named co-MVPs of the championship series. Job Corps’ Issac Harry earned league MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Shabron Bridges of Job Corps and Mike Tracy of Morris shared Rookie of the Year accolades.
Bowling leagues to meet Tuesday
Oneonta’s two scratch bowling leagues will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Holiday Lanes.
Team captains, league bowlers and those interested in competing in the Country Club Chevrolet Classic and/or the Michelob Lite Classic should attend.

Flag football league to meet Sept. 4
The Unadilla Flag Football League will hold its preseason meeting and draft at 6 p.m. Sept. 4 at The Copper Fox in Oneonta.
