{"notitle"/}Staff Report
Downsville graduate Courtney Hoyt, The Daily Star’s co-Player of the Year last fall, scored her first collegiate goals to lead SUNY Delhi to a 7-3 victory over visiting Hudson Valley in a Mountain Valley Conference women’s soccer game Tuesday.
Hoyt had three goals for Broncos, who improved to 2-1-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
"She’s been close," Delhi coach Bob Leary said. "I think our girls are used to playing with one another in general and she’s certainly a big part of it. She creates and opens it up."
Christina Intartaglia contributed a goal and three assists and Chelsea Griep two goals and an assist for Delhi.
Walton graduate Amanda Moffett made seven saves in goal for the Broncos.
