H-T girls win tourney

Staff Report

Paige Plattner’s goal with 3 minutes, 41 seconds left gave host Hunter-Tannersville a 2-1 girls soccer victory in the championship of the H-T Booster Club Tournament on Saturday.

Plattner snapped a 1-all tie before H-T shifted its focus to defense, coach Julia France said.

"My defense did very well keeping the ball from the keeper," France said. "Halfway through the second half, we seemed to really want it."
