Unatego graduate Erika Puffer had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead visiting Broome Community College to a 72-42 non-conference women’s basketball victory over Cobleskill on Tuesday.

Deirdre Torto scored a game-high 25 points, including seven three-pointers, to lead the Hornets (3-2).

Meghan Smida scored 10 points to lead the Fighting Tigers (5-3), who play host to Hudson Valley at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Anthony Armstead had 23 points and Jude Franck contributed 18 to lead host Cobleskill to a non-conference victory. Darryl Burns Jr. contributed 17 points, five assists and five rebounds, and point guard Harley Fuller had 12 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Fighting Tigers, who led, 42-35, at halftime.

Stanley Francois had 12 points for Cobleskill (6-3), which plays host to Hudson Valley at 7 p.m. Friday.
