Wrestling tourney moved to Monday

The Sixth Ward Athletic Club Royal Rumble Wrestling Festival will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Oneonta High. The event was originally scheduled for today.

Oneonta City School students in grades 3-8 are eligible to compete in the tournament, which is free. Previous wrestling experience is not necessary. All participants will receive a T-shirt and a medal.

Golf meetings scheduled for next week

The Colonial Ridge Golf Course in Laurens will hold an organizational meeting for its Tuesday Morning Men’s League at 9 a.m. April 24 in the clubhouse. An organizational meeting for its Thursday Night Men’s League will follow at 5:30 p.m. April 26 in the clubhouse.

Dinner and auction set for April 28

The Oneonta State women’s soccer team will host its second annual Dinner & Auction from 5-9 p.m. April 28 at the Elks Club on 84 Chestnut St. in Oneonta.

The Red Dragons will serve an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner to guests, who will be eligible to bid on donated items from area businesses.[an error occurred while processing this directive]

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children younger than 10. Tickets are available at the Latte Lounge in Oneonta, at the door, by calling O-State women’s soccer coach Liz McGrail at 607-436-3474 or by e-mailing McGrail at mcgraiea@oneonta.edu. O-State players will deliver tickets to those in the Oneonta area who order by phone or e-mail.

All proceeds will benefit the O-State women’s soccer team.

CSC seeks teams for co-ed softball league
