Former Hartwick College football standout Soule, 23, signed a contract to play for the Cape Fear Wildcats of the arena2football league two days before Christmas. That kicked off a seven-year plan that Soule hopes will end with a roster spot on an NFL team, he said Monday from his home in Spencer.
